CAFRE – Università di Pisa

The University of Pisa, founded in 1343, is one of the most ancient and prestigious universities in Europe. The internationally recognized standards of the Excellent Quality and Research Results of the University of Pisa have been approved by the Academic Ranking of World Universities that ranked the University of Pisa No. 101-150th on the list of the 2010 and 2011 World Top 500.
The University Centre for the Training and Education Research – CAFRE is the Centre of the University of Pisa (IT) in charge of research and training in the educational field, both at secondary and tertiary level. CAFRE members are University of Pisa researchers active in different subjects and have experience in, including the co-ordination of, both European transnational (Comenius 3.1 and 2.1) and international teacher education projects at any level. Interdisciplinary research, such as Intercultural Education, and Mathematics and Language, is one of their main concern.
